Born in 2023 from the successes of its members in sub-Saharan Africa, particularly in Congo and Cameroon, ISWEES is the result of a common desire to build a solid and inclusive project, intended not only to women in high positions, but also to those seeking to emerge and overcome the professional obstacles.

Problematic

The problem at the heart of this conference is the gender inequalities in the areas of technological innovation, engineering, entrepreneurship, and other sectors keys. Women are under-represented and face disadvantages such as gender discrimination, obstacles to create and develop businesses, lack of confidence, including very limited access to finance and professional networks, limited access to education and professional opportunities etc.
